Gabriel graduated as part of the pioneer cohort from the Singapore Institute of Technology’s Degree with Honours in Physiotherapy programme. In his graduating year, Gabriel was conferred the title of Valedictorian, and received the Outstanding Student Award in Physiotherapy from the National Council of Social Service. Gabriel has also attained full registration with Singapore’s Allied Health Professions Council.
Upon graduating, Gabriel spent 2.5 years working in Sengkang General Hospital (SKH), where he received accolades in recognition of his patient service excellence. During his time in SKH, Gabriel worked in the Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedic-Surgical, and Neurological-Rehabilitation teams, as well as covered the hospital’s Emergency Department. These experiences equipped Gabriel with the breadth and depth of knowledge and skills required to treat conditions ranging from acute musculoskeletal pains to more chronic and advanced sports injuries.
Gabriel is passionate about providing patient-centered care, and believes in partnering patients on their journey of rehabilitation and recovery. Gabriel strives to empower his clients through education and exercise, enabling them to engage in their daily activities and interests meaningfully. Outside of work, Gabriel enjoys playing the piano and sings in several choirs. He also participates actively in various sports, especially racket sports like tennis and squash.
