Vanessa completed her Bachelor’s degree in Anatomy and Human Biology at the University of Western Australia. She went on to complete her Doctor of Physiotherapy at Macquarie University in Sydney.
She worked for a couple of years at a private practice in Sydney’s CBD before returning to Singapore. During those years, she gained experience working in collaboration with other allied health professionals, GP's and specialists. Her interest lies in injury/re-injury prevention, back pain and lower limb injuries.
Being a former competitive swimmer, Vanessa sustained a few injuries herself which have led to a deeper understanding of sporting injuries, she is passionate about helping others recover from their injuries with a strong focus on preventing a recurrence.
As a clinician, Vanessa places a large emphasis on motivating and educating others on how to achieve their health and wellness goals. She understands how important personal goals are and recognizes that motivation and support play a key role in achieving them.
